Outcome of the residency
The residency results in a process-oriented artistic outcome centered on research, experimentation, and the development of new work within an interdisciplinary and critical framework. The program does not impose a predefined direction; rather, it supports each artist in following their own lines of inquiry, allowing the process to unfold according to the decisions, intuitions, and concerns that emerge from their individual practice.

Informed by a psychoanalytic background—particularly the notion of the sinthome as a way of sustaining one’s relationship to the Real—the residency encourages artists to investigate their practice as a site of questioning. Artists are invited to look inward and identify latent paths, underlying structures, or overlooked possibilities within their work.
Throughout the residency, participants engage in:
Self-directed research and experimentation
Open-ended exploration across media and disciplines
Critical reflection and dialogue, both individually and collectively

The primary outcome is not defined by a final product, but by a deepening of the artist’s relationship to their own practice. This includes:
The emergence of new works or works-in-progress
The uncovering of new conceptual or methodological directions
Process documentation (texts, sketches, audiovisual material)
A shift in the artist’s perspective toward their own production

Rather than aiming to produce definitive answers, the residency seeks to generate new questions. It creates a space in which artists can reconsider, and potentially liberate, their relationship to making—opening up alternative ways of thinking, producing, and situating their work.
Outcomes may be shared through informal presentations, open studios, or documentation, but the emphasis remains on process over product, and on fostering meaningful, self-reflective artistic inquiry.
